Angela Manning, RN, is a licensed Registered Nurse with more than a decade of clinical experience spanning intensive critical care, chronic care management, legal nurse consulting, and home health. She is the founder of Summit Care Group and the clinical architect of Signature Nursing Concierge, its private nursing practice.
Angela is also enrolled as a Registered Nurse provider with the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Workers' Compensation Programs. Her enrollment allows her to provide Case Management and skilled nursing services to eligible injured and occupationally ill workers under the Federal Employees' Compensation Act Program (FECA), the Division of Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation (DLHWC), the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC), and the Division of Coal Mine Workers' Compensation, also known as the Federal Black Lung Program (DCMWC). This enrollment reflects the clinical qualifications and regulatory readiness required to serve individuals navigating complex work-related injuries, illnesses, and long-term care needs.
Angela left traditional healthcare in 2014 with one observation she could not set aside: the patients who needed a nurse most were often the ones with the least access to one outside of an appointment or a crisis. The healthcare system was not designed to follow them home. She decided to build something that would.
Summit Care Group grew from that decision. This RN-led care management practice was designed to remain present through every chapter of a client's health journey - not only during the moments that happen inside a clinic or hospital, but also during the critical days, decisions, and transitions in between.
